Potiphar, an Egyptian who was one of Pharoah's officials, the captian of the guard, bought him from the Ishmaelites who had taken him there.And Joseph was brought down to Egypt; and Potiphar, an officer of Pharoah, captain of the guard, an Egyptian, bought him of the hands of the Ishmeelites which had brought him down thither. And Joseph was carried down to Egypt. And Potiphar, a eunuch of Pharoah, the chief of the executioners, an Egyptian man, bought him from the hand of the Ishmaelites who had carried him down there.

The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. The Lord of the promise is not slow, as some deem slowness, but is long-suffering toward us, not having purposed any [of us] to perish, but all [of us] to come to repentance.
