Words at War - Howard Blue The book Words at War discusses a group of progressive World War II radio dramatists (Arthur Miller, Norman Corwin, Arthur Laurents, etc.), their work, and some of their actors. It also describes how a coalition of right-wing forces, disturbed by the progressive stance of these people, attacked them and ultimately drove them out of broadcasting via the blacklist.

XM Radio Okay, so they're not really a radio theater group, but their Sonic Theater and Radio Classics channels are great for the audio theater maven. Sonic Theater airs several programs from the Canadian Broadcasting Corp, Ireland's Crazy Dog Audio Theater, and a few American ones, like LA Theater Works and Imagination Theater.
